Madeline Fleming

Madeline currently teaches choir and keyboard at Marshall Laing Music School on Saturday mornings.

She has been tutored in choral singing for almost 10 years, and has been part of many choirs over the years. In addition to this she plays the piano, having lessons at Marshall Laing Music School for 3 years, before continuing on with private lessons for another 2 years.

During the past few years Madeline has participated in many different musical groups. She has played both Electric Bass and Upright Bass for her Jazz Combo, as well as in the school Concert Band and Big Band, performing in many competitions. She has performed at the Auckland Secondary Schools Jazz Competition, the NZ Youth Jazz Competition, and the KBB Music Festival.

She has been teaching at Marshall Laing since 2023, and she is enjoying teaching both her choir, and her piano classes.
