Recommended Ages are:
Age 5+ Recorder, Choir
Age 6+ Keyboard, Piano, Violin
Age 8+ Cello, Drums, Guitar, Choir, Orchestra
Age 10+ Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Trumpet
Please check with your tutor or the office to ensure your child is enrolled in the correct level and/or year. This helps us to create an efficient timetable.
Speak to the Supervisor or the music teacher about which music book is right for your child’s class and level, so that you buy the correct copy.
Saturday enrolments are annual intake and open in November for the following year. We recommend you enrol as early as possible so the school supervisor can place you in the appropriate class.
Your place in a class is subject to:

The successful completion of the enrolment form

Full payment of fees before classes begin

That a sufficient number of students are enrolled in a particular class
Please make sure your child is at the appropriate age for the instrument as per guidelines (as in above section).

If a student has enrolled and paid for a class and decides to withdraw before the class commences, you can arrange with the music school office for a full refund of lesson fees.
There will be no refund if a child withdraws after 2 weeks of lessons.
There are no make-up lessons or refunds for any student absences.
If a tutor is unable to teach (e.g. illness), we will provide a reliever to teach that lesson.
If we are unable to provide a reliever, you will be advised of cancellation of the lesson that day and a credit will be applied to your account for the missed lesson.
Yes – we encourage all students to be presented for examination when they are ready. We offer Trinity Guildhall, ABRSM, NZMEB, ANZCA etc.
To be eligible to sit music exams, your child must have been receiving individual lessons
Our car park is open to families dropping off and picking up children.
The school is not responsible for any damage caused to vehicles on school property.
