Individual or Paired Classes

Standard Lesson Duration: Typically lasts for 30 Minutes for Individual & 40 minutes for Paired unless otherwise arranged.

Extended Lesson Option: Longer lessons can be arranged upon request.

Invoicing: Lessons will be invoiced at the beginning of each school term.

Term Length: The standard term is 9 weeks, but it may be adjusted to account for public holidays that coincide with lesson days.

Payment Requirement: Full payment of fees is required before the term begins.

Cancellation Policy: Written notice of cancellation must be provided at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the upcoming school term.

Make-Up Lessons and Refunds: There are no make-up lessons or refunds for any student absences. This is due to the fact that the school operates on a set number of weeks per year and still needs to pay tutors when a student is absent.

Lesson Refund for school cancellation: In the event that the school is unable to conduct a scheduled lesson on a particular day, it will be credited towards the next invoice or refunded. Examples include Tutor absences, lockdowns, school emergencies & natural disasters.

Lesson adjustment: If a paired class (Group of 2 students) cannot be provided, the class time may be reduced to 20 minute individual sessions equivalent to the individual time your child would normally receive in a paired setting.

Concerts/Performances: Towards the end of school terms, the music school may hold concerts/performances on Saturdays during lesson times. Students will be given the opportunity to perform if their tutors decide they are ready. the music school considers this as part of a students development musically and opportunities will be given to all students to attend these performances regardless of whether they are performing or not.
Group Classes

Lesson Duration Options: Lessons typically last for 45 minutes (up to 7 students) or 30 minutes (up to 4 students)

Invoicing: Lessons will be invoiced on an annual basis at the beginning of the year.

Number of weeks: The standard number of lessons is 30 weeks of the year within school terms, however this may be adjusted to account for public holidays that coincide with lesson days.

Payment Requirement: Full payment of fees is required before lessons begin.

Late Payment: If payment is not received by the due date, the school will reach out to you, and we retain the right to cancel the class until payment is received.

Long-Term Absences: Extended absences of 4 or more consecutive lessons without sufficient notice will be treated as a cancellation, and the space may be offered to another student.
